Bannister Creek Greenway is a 15-acre natural area along Bannister Creek in the Bethany neighborhood, north of Highway 26. The greenway extends from NW Laidlaw Road on its south end to NW Redfox Drive on its north end.
The greenway, accessible from several soft-surface trails, features a small playground area. It is one of the park district’s more popular locales for beaver activity. Visitors should look for stick and mud dams, pointy stumps, and chew marks on trees.
Bannister Creek flows into Bronson Creek, which flows into Beaverton Creek (through Tualatin Hills Nature Park), eventually merging with other creeks destined for the Tualatin River.
