Competitive Swimming Shoulder Stability Clinic
The Competitive Swimming Shoulder Stability Clinic is designed to teach Date Day Time ID/AP OD Class#
competitive swimmers ages 11-18 skills to prevent swimming-related
shoulder injuries. The clinic consists of 4 90-minute classes led by a swim Ai Chi & Sound Bath Healing
coach with experience building shoulder stability to prevent injury. 30 Participants will enjoy Ai Chi moves with Kristi, combining breath with
minutes of each class is dedicated to land-based exercises to improve movement that enhances memory, balance, flexibility, mobility and
shoulder strength and stability followed by 1 hour of in-the-water instruction coordination. Then participants will float or gently move around in the water
to teach swimmers how to integrate those muscle groups into the four with the support of noodles while sound washes over them with crystal
strokes to improve shoulder stability in practice and competition. singing bowls by Julie. Refreshments and mingling to follow.
